How to Remove the Fuel Pump from an Audi A4

Replace the fuel pump in an Audi A4. Disconnect the battery cables in the engine compartment. Then, remove the rear seat cushions from the car. Use a socket wrench to remove the fastening screws of the metal cap (if present), take it out from its seat, and cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to soak up any fluid leaks. Unscrew the fuel pump clamp, disconnect the power terminals and the liquid circulation hoses. Extract the floating fuel pump from its seat along with the attached parts. Finally, install the new pump with the attached parts.
