Instrument Cluster Disassembly Instructions

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004

Before proceeding with the disassembly of the instrument cluster, disconnect the battery located on the passenger side, just below the windshield. Next, move the steering wheel adjustment all the way out and down to increase maneuvering space. Remove the plastic trim at the bottom of the instrument cluster and unscrew the underlying Torx screws. Then, pull the instrument cluster forward and disconnect the connectors at the back: they have a bayonet-type locking mechanism (releasing the lock automatically pulls out the connector).
