How to Reset the Service Light on an Audi A4

To reset the service indicator on an Audi A4 B7, follow these steps: Turn on the car without starting the engine. Ensure that the odometer or central display shows the total odometer reading instead of the trip meter. Press and hold the "RESET" button or the "0.0" button (depending on the model) on the dashboard or multifunction steering wheel. While holding the button, turn on the ignition (without starting the engine). Continue to hold the button for a few seconds until a message appears on the display or until the service indicator starts to blink. Release the button. Use the "RESET" button or the navigation button (if available) to scroll through the menu options until you find the "Service" or "Oil" option. Select the service reset option by pressing the "RESET" button or the navigation button. Confirm the operation when prompted by pressing the "RESET" button or the navigation button again. The service indicator will be reset and should turn off. Turn off the ignition and wait a few seconds. Turn the ignition back on to check that the service indicator remains off.
