How to replace the crankshaft position sensor in the Audi A4?

In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the crankshaft position sensor in the Audi A4, a very simple operation. Before proceeding, make sure the engine is completely cold to work safely. As shown, the sensor in question is located about halfway up the left wall of the engine. To access it, we will need to remove the battery and its support first. It is also held in place by a single bolt, which can be unscrewed with a 10mm socket wrench. Once removed, we can disconnect the connector, insert the replacement, and follow the reverse procedure.
