Front Shock Absorber Replacement

Loosen the wheel nuts and lift the vehicle securely. Remove the bolts and take off the wheel.

Unscrew and extract the retaining pins from the suspension arm using a 16 mm wrench and push them out. Use penetrating spray to ease the process. Also disconnect the steering tie rod. Using a wrench and a ratchet, remove the suspension bolts and detach the shock absorber.

Remove the protective cover in the engine compartment by unscrewing the three bolts at the top of the suspension with a 16 mm wrench, and perform the same operation on the other shock absorber after removing the expansion tank. Remove the entire suspension assembly and clean off any deposits with a wire brush.

Using the appropriate equipment, compress the spring to allow for the removal of the worn shock absorber and replace it with a new one. Also replace the spring and rubber boot. Reinstall the suspension on the vehicle in reverse order.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
