How to Replace the Driveshaft Gaiter on an Audi

This operation is performed on an Audi, but the procedure is similar for a Volkswagen. First, you will need to remove the wheel in question. Lift your vehicle and place it on appropriate axle stands; this will allow you to observe the structure you are going to dismantle. Next, undo the bolts that secure the driveshaft to the differential, allowing you to completely remove the driveshaft. Now you can extract the gaiter and replace it with the new one, or alternatively, you can completely replace the driveshaft, and you're done!
