How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW 3 Series?

To reset the Service light on a BMW 3 Series, turn on the ignition by inserting the key into the ignition switch. When the dashboard is powered on, press and hold the button located at the bottom left of the dashboard to display all maintenance options.

By repeatedly pressing the button, scroll through the menu until you find the option showing the miles remaining until the next maintenance. Then, press and hold the button for a few seconds to complete the reset of the light.
