In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the coolant reservoir in a BMW 3 Series, a very simple operation. First, wait for the engine to be completely cool, then open the hood and remove both the air filter box and the intake duct.

Next, disconnect both ends of the indicated hose, also disconnect the connector of the lower sensor, and pull the reservoir upwards to detach it. At this point, you can install the replacement, reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure, and refill the necessary amount of coolant to reach the ideal level.
