To change the button battery located in your BMW 3 Series G20 key, follow the steps outlined in this guide. First, purchase a new CR2032 battery.

Then, take the car remote and remove the metal side part. Once done, locate the battery holder and pull it out. Next, remove the dead battery and replace it with the new one. Finally, insert the battery holder back into the key and reassemble the metal part you removed earlier.
