How to Adjust the Parking Brake on the BMW X3

To adjust the parking brake on your vehicle, locate the cable's stop mechanism. To access it, remove the rear wheels where the parking brake is used. After lifting the vehicle and removing the wheels, you can work directly on the parking brake mechanism. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the topmost hole. By illuminating the area, you will see the spring that adjusts the parking brake. You can then adjust the travel distance needed for the parking brake, and you're done!
