How do you reset the Service light on the BMW 3 Series?

The procedure to reset the Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the BMW 3 Series involves turning on the instrument panel and waiting for all error messages to disappear. When the main screen appears, you must hold down the button at the bottom left of the instrument panel until the car icon on a bridge appears. At this point, you must press and hold the BC button located on the lever to the left of the steering wheel. An icon of a clock will appear, and once it disappears, it will indicate that the Service light has been reset and you can finally turn off the instrument panel.
