How to reset the service light on the BMW X1

Today we will reset the oil light on a 2023 BMW X1 vehicle. To perform the reset of the light, we need to turn on the instrument panel and press the BC button located on the left lever of the steering wheel to access the service menu. By holding down the menu button for 15 seconds to start the reset of the light, we press the button a second time to complete the update and restart the instrument panel. If the reset is unsuccessful, it is possible to go to the workshop for a computerized diagnosis to identify the issue, usually related to the oil tank sensor.
