If the key of your BMW 3 Series E90 has stopped working and you want to replace the battery located inside it yourself, all you have to do is follow the steps described below. First of all, get a flat head screwdriver and obviously a new CR2032 battery. At this point, remove the emergency key by pulling it outwards and then use the flathead screwdriver to easily remove the cover. Once the cover is removed, all you have to do is remove the exhausted battery and replace it with a new one. Reassemble the back cover and you're done.
