How to install the electronic fan on the BMW 3 Series E36 version

In this video we can see how to install the electronic fan instead of the mechanical one on a BMW 3 Series E36 version: first of all, we need to remove the fan guard, which is normally fixed by two bolts (not the case in the video car). The YouTuber found that his fan is no longer working properly, so he decided to replace it with an electronic one. We remove the fan blade, held by four bolts, then with a screwdriver and a 32 key we remove the central mechanism, rotating it clockwise. We can find the electric fan for example on silux-auto. It has the code 174408 (200723W3) at the price of 101.99 euros + 6.99 euros for delivery. The assembly is very simple because it fits into the front part, from inside the hood. We attach the electrical connector and then adjust the temperature sensor.
