A DSP (Digital Signal Processor) is a device capable of processing audio to create spatial sound based on psychoacoustic principles, executed in real-time during audio playback (DSPs operate in the digital domain, so if analog audio is used, it is converted to digital audio first).

DSPs can create surround sound from audio lacking surround (typically two-channel stereo audio), resulting in what are called ambient effects with varying results.

Open the trunk and remove the CD loader protection panel; using an 8 mm socket wrench, unscrew the mounting pins of the loader and remove it from its seat by disconnecting the plugs connected to it. Install the DSP device by connecting the provided wiring to the original plugs, and to power it, intercept the thicker wires present in the original wiring, specifically the brown (negative) and red-green (positive).

Strip the two wires in question (without cutting them) and connect the black-white to the red-green and the black to the brown, making a solder joint at the connections and insulating with appropriate tape.
