How do you replace the air filter of the BMW i8?

In order to replace the air filter of the BMW i8, you will need to open the rear hatch, as in this car the combustion engine is mounted in the central rear position: once the hatch is open, you will need to loosen all the screws that secure the panel located at the base of the corresponding compartment. Then you will be able to access the engine compartment, where the air filter box will be located and can be fully opened: the filter inside can now be removed. After the new piece is inserted, you can check that everything is functioning properly.
