How do you reset the brake wear indicator on a BMW Series 3?
Model: BMW Serie 3
E46
- Years 1998-2006
It will be possible to completely clear the brake wear warning light on the BMW Series 3 by turning on the instrument cluster, allowing you to navigate through its options by pressing the CHECK button located on the left lever next to the steering wheel. When the current date is displayed, you need to hold down the button to the left of the instrument cluster to access an additional menu. This button should be pressed to scroll through the menu options until the icon of the car with the brake wear symbol appears. Once this icon is displayed, you need to hold down the same button next to the cluster for a few seconds until the warning light disappears.
