Cabin Dust Filter Replacement

Model: BMW Serie 5 E60, E61 - Years 2003-2010
Part: Cabin air filter

Obtain a dust filter of the same model identical to the original. The dust filter purifies the air in the cabin and is located in the engine compartment under the windshield. To access it, rotate the two side hooks and remove the screws from the air grille and the protective cover, freeing it from the rubber gasket. Move the cover by lifting it. Once the filter cover is removed, carefully pull the cartridge from its housing by lifting it straight up to avoid dust dispersal. Place the new filter into the housing after carefully cleaning the housing and ensuring proper orientation, then securely close the cover.
