How to Remove the Water Pump on a BMW 3 Series

Let's see how to remove the water pump on a BMW 3 Series. Lift the car on a column lift and secure it, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the locking pins of the engine cover. Unscrew the water hose and let it drain into a container. Bring the car down and open the hood; remove the water pump's fastening pins with a socket wrench (remove the belts as shown in the video). Once the part is removed from its seat, disconnect the power connectors and take it out. Finally, install the new water pump in the engine bay with all the attached parts.
