How to Remove the Thermostat from a BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

In the following video, see how to remove the thermostat and water pump on a BMW 3 Series. Lift the car on a column lift; remove the engine cover panel. Unscrew the bolts of the thermostat housing as shown in the video and (use a socket wrench with the appropriate sockets) pull out the sealing cap from the housing and extract the coolant thermostat followed by the water pump. Insert the new part and close it with the housing cap. Tighten the bolts securely, and you're done. Make sure to have correctly reinstalled all the parts that were removed earlier.
