Spark Plug Replacement Instructions

Model: BMW X5 E53 - Years 1999-2006

It is recommended to perform this repair with the engine cold to avoid unpleasant burns. Open the hood and ensure it is securely supported. Remove the engine cover and then the side covers that conceal the spark plugs, unscrew the mounting screws of the coils, and pull out the ignition wires. Using the appropriate wrench, unscrew the spark plugs and replace them with new ones (check compatibility with the originals) without over-tightening. Reattach the ignition wires and screw in the coils, then reinstall the side covers and the engine cover.
