Removal and Cleaning of the ICV Sensor

The ICV (Idle Control Valve) is essentially a sensor that controls the throttle opening when there is low flow, typically below about 20% of the gas, providing more precise engine control. The ICV can become clogged with carbon deposits, preventing it from opening and closing the carburetor correctly. In this case, the idle may fluctuate, and with more fluctuations, the engine may stall. To remove it, you need to disassemble the engine cover and then the air duct up to the carburetor inlet, then proceed with its simple removal. If the issue is attributed to the ICV, the sensor can be removed and cleaned with a toothbrush and a good amount of carburetor cleaner.
