Replace the Fuel Pump on BMW 3

How do you remove the damaged fuel pump? Let's take it out from inside the fuel tank in simple steps. Remove the rear seat cushions and locate the access to the tank. Use a socket wrench to remove the screws securing the metal cover, then take it off. Use a chisel to unscrew the large nut that secures the fuel pump, disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses. Extract the floating fuel pump from its housing along with the attached parts. Install a new working pump in the Series 3 tank.
