If the fuel pump in your BMW 3 Series suddenly stops working, the first thing to do is check the status of the respective relay, whose position is shown in this video. As demonstrated, it is located in the fuse box inside the cabin, specifically behind the passenger glove compartment.

To access it, you will first need to remove the glove box. The relay in question is the first in the only row when looking at the fuse box from the front. Make sure to replace it with a part that has the same specifications to avoid damaging the pump.
