How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a BMW 3 Series?

To replace the fuel pump on a BMW 3 Series, loosen the screws that secure the rear seat cushions and completely remove them. Once removed, you can access the components underneath, including the fuel pump itself: it must be taken out of its housing by unscrewing the mounting bolts and disconnecting the hoses and connectors. This way, the old pump can be removed from its housing and replaced with a new replacement part. After installation, reinstall the seats.
