How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a BMW 3 Series?

To replace the fuel pump on a BMW 3 Series, remove the rear seat cushions by disengaging their retaining clips. Once the seats are removed, loosen the bolts securing the protective cover of the pump. At this point, disconnect the fuel lines and their connectors to free the pump. Now, loosen the bolts that secure the pump in its housing and remove it, replacing it with a new part. After installation, seal it again with the cap and reinstall the seats.
