Removing Car Radio and Installing Alpine HCE-C500 Kit

Model: BMW X5 E70 - Years 2007-2013
Part: Car stereo

Use a plastic pry tool to detach the air vents located just above the climate control buttons, disconnecting the connectors attached to them; remove the screws underneath to take out the center display; continue by removing the climate control buttons and then the CD player unit that includes the car radio. Connect the adapter cable of the HCE-C500 kit to the original car radio wiring, routing it through the center tunnel to the bottom of the passenger side glove compartment; make the various electrical connections as per the attached diagram until you install the system management control unit (to be placed under the dashboard on the passenger side) and the video interface for the monitor. Then reassemble the car radio and the display.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order.
