Let's see how to remove the fuel filter on a BMW 3 Series. Raise the car to access the fuel filter located under the vehicle's floor.

Remove the retaining bolts near the container (disconnect the wires and various hoses from the filter) where the fuel filter is situated. Once the filter is removed, take it out of the vehicle (disconnect the hose clamps).

Install the filter onto the attached fuel filter container (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Connect the various hoses to the fuel filter.

Lower the car and start the engine for a test.
