How to Replace the Fuel Filter on BMW E46

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the fuel filter on a BMW E46 by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is purchase a new fuel filter from an authorized dealer; the next step is to lift the hood and secure it with the prop rod, placing a cloth to prevent damage to the bodywork. Using a 7mm socket wrench, loosen the clamp on the hose connected to the fuel filter and disconnect the connector from the filter. With a T30 Torx wrench, remove the fastening element located above the filter. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the hoses connected to the filter. With the T30 Torx wrench, loosen the filter support and remove the filter from its housing. Replace the old filter with the new one and reconnect all parts in reverse order.
