Replacing the Poly V Belt on BMW 5 Series E39

Open the hood and remove the front bolt with a 32 mm wrench, as shown in the video. Remove the air filter housing gasket. Unscrew the mounting screws of the housing where the fan is attached and remove everything. At this point, you can see the drive belt: with a 13 mm wrench, move the lower tensioner pulley to loosen the belt, which you can then start to slide off. Similarly, remove the cap from the upper tensioner roller and move it with a 16 mm wrench to completely remove the belt. Reverse the process for installation: if you forget the installation pattern, refer to the one shown in the video.
