Replacing BMW 3 Series Key Battery

Model: BMW Serie 3 F30, F31 - Years 2012-2019

Press the button on the end of the remote to extract the manual key from the housing. Then, using the key or a small flathead screwdriver, pry in the space left by the key to remove the cover. Voila! You will now see the battery, which is a CR2450 and can be found at any hardware store or large supermarket. Again, use the small flathead screwdriver to pry it out of its slot. Insert the new battery and reassemble the remote by attaching the cover and reinserting the manual key.
