How to replace the battery in the key of a BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E92, E90, E91 - Years 2005-2013

Before we can start, we will have to go to disengage and extract the emergency key of the electric key of our BMW 3 Series, simply by pressing the relative release button. So let's start by disengaging and removing the battery cover, using a large slotted screwdriver and prying. By doing so, we will have reached the spent key battery. We then proceed by going to extract the battery from its housing, and we will have concluded the disassembly. To mount the new battery we will only have to follow these steps in reverse, and we will have finished our replacement.
