How to reset the all-wheel drive warning light on a BMW X3

After replacing the battery, the 4x4 sensor may reset, activating the warning light. To begin the reset, sit in the driver's seat of your BMW X3. Start by turning on the vehicle's instrument cluster. Then, fully turn the steering wheel to the left, then fully to the right, and finally realign it. This will allow the sensor to correctly capture and memorize the steering movement. Once this step is completed, the all-wheel drive warning light will turn off, and you will have finished the reset.
