How to Replace the Radio in a BMW X3

Model: BMW X3 MK 1, E83 - Years 2003-2010

Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your BMW X3. First, dislodge and remove the center air vents, then take out the buttons and disconnect the corresponding electrical connector. Next, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the radio trim and climate control panel, then move them aside. This will give you access to the screws that hold the radio in place, which you need to unscrew and remove. At this point, pull out the radio and disconnect the corresponding electrical connectors, completing the disassembly. To install the new radio and reassemble everything, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
