Removing Radio from BMW X3

Model: BMW X3 MK 1, E83 - Years 2003-2010

Are you replacing the damaged radio in a BMW X3? Here’s how to remove it. Remove the air vents located above the radio. Use a plastic trim tool to detach the stereo trim from the center console where the air vents are located. Once the stereo is free, use a screwdriver to remove the mounting screws on either side. Pull the stereo out with your hands and disconnect the wiring (power and antenna). Install the new stereo into the dashboard trim; connect the power connectors. Reattach the cover trim.
