Removal of bulbs and headlights on BMW 3 Series e46

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Headlight

Work with the engine off and the handbrake on. Replacing the bulbs on the BMW E46 is really very simple: to do this, after having obviously raised the hood, you just have to unscrew the connector of the bulb concerned from behind. In this way you can extract the connector with the inserted bulb from its seat: pull the latter out of the support and replace it. If, on the other hand, you want to completely disassemble the headlight, you have to unscrew the three rear screws that secure it to the vehicle, one cross and two hexagonal. Here too, to completely remove the headlight, you will have to unscrew the connectors and extract them from the headlight itself.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order.
