Removing the Bulbs and Headlights on BMW 3 Series E46

Work with the engine off and the parking brake engaged. Replacing the bulbs on BMW E46 is really simple: to do this, after raising the hood, you only need to slightly unscrew the connector of the affected bulb from the back. This way, you can pull the connector with the bulb out of its socket: pull the bulb out of the holder and replace it. If you want to completely remove the headlight, you need to unscrew the three screws at the back that secure it to the vehicle, one Phillips and two hex screws. Again, to completely remove the headlight, you will need to unscrew the connectors and pull them out of the headlight assembly.
