How do I replace the instrument cluster on the BMW 3 Series E36?

Model: BMW Serie 3 E36 - Years 1990-2001
Part: Instrument cluster

In order to replace the instrument panel of the BMW 3 Series E36 you have to loosen the two 20-inch torx screws that are located immediately above the speedometer, on the right and left side. Their removal will allow the instrument panel to be disengaged by pulling it outwards. Once extracted, it will be possible to remove it completely after having removed the relative connectors at the back. Once the old instrument cluster has been removed, the new part can be connected to the connectors and inserted into its housing. Finally, it will have to be fixed with the same screws removed previously.
