How to reset the brake wear indicator on the BMW 1 Series?

Model: BMW Serie 1 MK 2, F20, F21 - Years 2011-2019

To reset the brake wear indicator on the BMW 1 Series, turn on the instrument cluster using the ignition button and press the button located at the bottom left of the display twice for about 5 seconds. An interface will appear with the car and various settings: using the same button, scroll through the menu until you reach the option for brake pad wear. By holding the button on the left for two seconds, a loading bar will appear, at the end of which the reset will be completed. If the reset does not occur, short-circuit the wear sensor cable and repeat the operation.
