Let's find out in this short and simple guide how to open the bonnet on the BMW X4 first series, but also on the X3 and X4. First of all we open the front door and start by pulling the lever to open the engine hood lock; then we find the release mechanism on the right side of the bonnet, near the bumper grille, as shown in the video. At this point we release the mechanism (ie the lever of the engine hood) with our fingers to open and lift the hood itself; so let's push the hood down to close it for good!
