The guide shows you how to replace the remote control battery of the BMW X1 E84. If the remote control has a small flap on the back near the battery, the mechanical key must first be removed. At this point, with a small slotted screwdriver or a tool with a thin tip, lift the cover from the compartment created after removing the battery. If the remote control has a rear face all in one piece, just remove the mechanical key and, inserting a screwdriver in the compartment created, lift the whole rear cover. The battery is buffer, model CR2032. Close the rear cover and insert the key again. Check that the remote control works correctly.
