How to Reset the Automatic Transmission of a BMW 5 Series E60

In this video, you will learn how to reset the automatic transmission of a BMW E60. First, place the key in the 1-2 position. Then turn it further to the 3 position without pressing the brake pedal. You will see the indicator light turn on, signaling that you can proceed with the reset. Next, press the accelerator pedal for 30 seconds. Hold this position until the warning light (the triangle with the exclamation point) turns off. At that point, you can remove your foot from the accelerator pedal. Finally, turn the key from the 3 position to the 0 position to turn off the ignition.
