Operation: How to reset the automatic transmission of a BMW 5 Series E60.

In this video we will see how to reset the automatic transmission of a BMW E60. First we are going to place the key in position 1-2. Then we turn further to position 3, without pressing the brake pedal. We will see the light come on indicating that we can proceed with the reset. So let's go and press the accelerator pedal for 30 seconds. We will have to stay in this position until the attention light (the triangle with the exclamation point) goes out. At that point it is possible to take your foot off the accelerator pedal. Finally, we take the key from position 3 to position 0, turning off the ignition.

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes.
