Replacing the BMW E46 Coupe Side Mirror

How do you remove the outside mirror of the BMW 3? Let's see how to disassemble the outside mirror. Open the car door, remove all the screws from the door cover panel, and take it off. Remove the plastic cover at the corner of the window. Once the trim piece is off, unscrew the mounting screws of the mirror. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the mirror. Install the mirror with the mounting screws, reconnect the electrical wires, and attach the plastic cover to the door sheet metal. Finally, reinstall the door cover panel to complete the maintenance.
