Removal of Front Seats

Removing the seats from your car is a relatively easy task if you have basic skills. The seats are secured to a sliding bracket; once the seat is adjusted, you can proceed to remove the bolt covers using a flathead screwdriver. With the help of an Allen wrench, turn the bolts counterclockwise and remove them. Ensure the engine is off and the wiring is disconnected before proceeding with the removal. You can then remove the front seats by tilting them gently and passing them through the car door.

Lift the car on a column lift and (at your preferred height) use a socket wrench to unscrew the sump plug, allowing the oil to drain into a container (for disposal) and then re-screw the plug.
