Replacing the Engine Oil Sensor

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

This video shows you how to replace the engine oil sensor. First, remove the oil pan and clean it from any dirt residue. Then, locate the position of the oil sensor; it is easily removable by unscrewing the 3 nuts that secure it to the pan and using a screwdriver to pry it off. Once removed, you will find a gasket or O-ring inside that should be replaced if it is excessively worn before installing the new sensor. The oil sensor is extremely important in a car as it helps you understand when your engine oil is about to run out.
