In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a BMW 1 Series F20, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the key is not inserted, then open the boot and remove the floor panel of the compartment. Next, unscrew the two fixing bolts of the bracket and disconnect both terminals, loosening the respective nuts, starting with the negative. At this point, disconnect the small ventilation tube, unscrew the 13mm bolt of the lower bracket, remove the battery, and fit the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
