Check Rear Drums and Shoes

Lift the vehicle on appropriate jack stands and remove the rear wheel; check the free rotation of the drum without noise or interference from the shoes; remove the rubber plug located behind the drum, which provides access to the adjustment screw for the shoe opening; unscrew the retaining pin of the drum to the hub and remove the drum with a few taps of a hammer; then check the wear condition of the shoes, the inner part of the drum (especially for any very deep grooves), and any oil leaks from the wheel cylinder.
