Rear Parking Brake Shoe Replacement

For this car model, the rear brake disc also serves as a drum for the parking brake shoes: timely and accurate maintenance therefore requires both the replacement of the shoes and the disc along with the related pads, while ensuring all components are cleaned. Once the vehicle is lifted and the rear wheel is removed, proceed with the disassembly of the brake caliper, its bracket, the disc, and the shoes; thoroughly clean the shoe expansion mechanism by removing all dirt and buildup, then reverse the process to install the shoes while resetting the adjustment, the new disc, and the new pads; ensure that with the parking brake disengaged, the disc spins freely.
