In this video, you will learn how to change the key battery of a BMW 530d. Start by extracting the key; once you have removed it, insert it into the slot next to it and apply light pressure, as shown at minute 0:40. This will remove the plastic cover, revealing the battery compartment. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the CR2450 battery. At this point, insert the new battery with the negative terminal facing down and the positive terminal facing you. Finally, close the cover and reinsert the key into the designated slot.
