Instructions for Disassembling the Power Window Mechanism

To disassemble the complete power window mechanism with motor, first remove the door panel. Before disconnecting the window switch connector, lower the window to access the clips that anchor the glass to the mechanism. At this point, remove the panel and the soundproofing cover, then proceed with disassembling the power window mechanism: remove the fastening rivets using a drill and a 6-8 mm bit, extract the fastening clips of the plastic sliding pads connected to the clips, unscrew the two pins, and disconnect the wiring.
